Food for Thought: Adopt a School

The Irving Schools Foundation is providing dinner bags and $25 grocery gift cards to the students of the IISD to help meet their food needs over the holidays. Each food bag consists of two dinners–3 items each. (Please keep in mind that many of our students are young and walk to and from school, so try to pair heavier items with lighter items to keep the weight down.)

You will be providing the food, dividing it up into individual bags for each student (2 dinners each), and delivering the bags to the campus. We recommend using Walmart or Target grocery bags, double knotted for security. You will also be providing a $25 gift card with each food bag to help families buy additional groceries.

Use the link below to view dinner bag options. Choose only 2 options for each bag.

Please consider adopting the same campus for the entire year: Spring Break, Fall break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break.

Let us know how we can help or if you have any questions!
