Ignite Your Skills: Apply for an Employee Enrichment Grant
How the EEG Program Works
Employee Enrichment Grants (EEG) are professional development grants of up to $1,000 awarded for registration fees for seminars, workshops and conferences not funded by the district. (Note that this program does not cover association memberships, travel expenses, or other costs.)
All permanent district employees are eligible to apply for an Employee Enrichment Grant. Criteria for consideration include the content of the seminar/conference/workshop and the potential impact for students or other teachers/employees, as well as the quality of the application submitted by the grant applicant.
Applications are initially reviewed by your campus or department administrator; once she or he has approved, the application is then evaluated by a committee of ISF volunteers. (See the “How to Apply” section below for further information.)
Here's What Previous EEG Recipients Say:
I feel so honored and appreciative that the Irving Schools Foundation chose me to go to the Dallas Institute Summer Academy. It was the most amazing experience! Where else could we have studied with such prestigious scholars and lecturers! The classics that we studied are truly the foundations of Western culture, timeless and enduring. really can’t express everything feel about the Academy because it was such a deep experience. It was a huge opportunity for personal as well as professional growth.”

I want to sincerely thank you for providing the funds for me to attend two workshops this summer at the Play Therapy Institute. As a counselor, I have the privilege of striving to meet a wide variety of needs of children. The two workshops I attended were very informative and provided me with many ideas to meet the needs of children in elementary school. I look forward to applying my new learnings this year at Townsell.
