Over the past several years, she has worked alongside students, teachers, staff, families, community members and the Board of Trustees to support districtwide initiatives focused on evaluating programs and practices, strengthening systems and building a future-ready Irving ISD.

A proud first-generation college graduate and daughter of Mexican-American immigrants, Dr. Galindo’s story is deeply rooted in resilience, hard work and the transformative power of public education. Those experiences shaped not only who she became, but how she leads. Dr. Galindo brings more than 16 years of experience in public education, research, strategic planning, organizational leadership and systems transformation. She is passionate about fostering cultures rooted in trust, collaboration, accountability, innovation and authentic stakeholder voice. Her leadership philosophy centers on listening deeply, leading with humility and creating the conditions for students, staff and communities to thrive together.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Galindo enjoys reading, wellness, leadership development and spending time with family.
