The Irving Las Colinas Rotary Irving High School Scholarship, an honor awarded to a graduating senior from Irving High School, celebrates Vanessa’s academic prowess, community involvement, and leadership success. Special consideration was given to her because of her exceptional commitment to service.
The Irving Marathon Running Series Turkey Trot Scholarship is another noteworthy accolade. This scholarship recognizes Vanessa’s dedication to community service, further emphasizing her commitment to making a positive impact. Her participation in the IMRS races exemplifies her passion for both fitness and participating with those around her.
Vanessa’s accomplishments also extend to academics. She is a recipient of the Phyllis Lyster Memorial Academic Scholarship, an award that honors the memory of Phyllis Lyster and is granted to two graduating seniors from Irving High School pursuing four-year degrees at a college or university.
